How it works
A creative learning program built for how children actually grow
Luminaries is a premium creative studio for kids ages 5–10. We blend art, design, STEAM, and hands-on making into a spiral three-journey curriculum that grows with your child.
The Luminaries approach
- Small pods of up to 12 with a 1:6 leader-to-child ratio.
- Semester-based sessions with a spiral curriculum across Fall and Spring.
- Real tools, real materials, real projects — presented at real showcase nights.
- Two age cohorts: Little Luminaries (5–7) and Rising Luminaries (8–10).
How progression works
Every child begins at Journey One of their cohort. Each cohort has three journeys — building tools and confidence, growing independence, then leading and mentoring — before children graduate into the next cohort's arc.
What children learn
- Foundations — looking, drawing, color, pattern, and composition.
- Applied Arts — printing, fiber, clay, natural dye, and mixed media.
- Creative Problem Solving — design briefs with material constraints.
- Entrepreneurship — Wunder Mix enterprise and Luminaries Market.
- Leadership — mentoring, presenting, and pod stewardship.
- Capstone Exhibition — a public show of every child's semester work.
How to enroll
Attend a Discovery Day to see the studio in person, then reserve your child's spot for the next semester. Mid-semester enrollment is possible when a pod has space.
Ready to see it in person?
Bring your child to a Discovery Day and try a hands-on lab before you enroll.
